In the previous video on ratchets, the $34 GearWrench with 90 teeth easily won the showdown. When you consider the very affordable price, it would still be my choice over all the ratchets tested this time.

If it's all about performance, the Matco is expensive but excels in all categories. Although the directional switch requires slightly more effort compared to other brands, it's still a minor issue for most people.

The Crescent ratchet is definitely the best value option, priced at only $14. It offers great value and delivers really good performance. Although it may not compete with the top brands in terms of working arc swing, it performs exceptionally well in every other category.
