What is the Best Welder?
Todd's Picks
Best Performance
Best Value
The Lincoln came in first place if one takes everything into account, including the length and quality of the clamps and cables. However, Titanium was a close second if we factor out the quality of the clamps and cables. Titanium came out on top with an average finish of 1.3. It's definitely not fair to compare a multi-process welder like the Lincoln solely on a cost basis, but we did it anyway to help those trying to decide which way to go. If you plan to buy a very affordable welder, my suggestion is to go ahead and purchase a current meter for around $30 to $40.
Best Low Cost
It's pretty rare for me to discourage people from buying a specific brand, but I would recommend avoiding the Ssimder and the S7. In my opinion, the Hone is definitely the way to go if you're looking for a welder for under a hundred dollars.
